President Volodymyr Zelensky held talks with the EU representatives, discussing key aspects of cooperation. In his speech, he emphasized:

“This symbolic beginning of your work reflects the main priorities for all of us in Europe. Peace is fundamental, and we will continue doing everything possible to end this war as quickly as possible—a war waged by Russia not only against Ukraine but against united Europe as well. We must end this war justly and strengthen our Europe—EU institutions and policies that support every European country.”

The arrival of high-ranking European officials in Kyiv amidst an ongoing armed conflict sent a powerful message.
